When our client approached Maxium Doors to replace an ageing roller shutter, the priority was clear, improved strength, longevity, and compliance with the latest safety standards. Our team designed and installed a tailored roller shutter system that delivers robust protection and a clean, professional finish.
Scope of Works
We supplied and installed one full perforated curtain, engineered for both ventilation and visibility, while ensuring optimal strength. To further reinforce the structure, four solid laths were fitted at the bottom, with an additional eight solid laths positioned around the barrel area — a configuration that significantly enhances the curtain’s rigidity and extends its operational lifespan.
A new bottom rail was incorporated for improved stability and smooth operation, and the complete assembly was finished in RAL 9005 (Traffic Black) to provide a sleek, durable coating suited to commercial environments.
Safety and Compliance
In line with our commitment to safety and performance, a new barrel assembly with an integrated safety brake was installed. Fully CE marked and compliant with the Machinery Directive, this system ensures reliable operation and peace of mind for the client.
