Maxdor Stainless Steel Doors provide all the durability of dependable metal doors with the benefit of 316L stainless steel construction. Maxdor Stainless Steel Doors are suitable for multi-purpose external and internal use for entrance and exit applications in commercial buildings.
Doors are manufactured in the UK from Strong, lightweight and durable, steel in a choice of designs, colours and locking options. Maxdor Stainless Steel Doors are designed for replacement of old door sets, or for new build projects. These doors offer cost savings thanks to a design that allows fast installation and easy adjustment.
Applications include any building where a more durable door is required and especially for external applications and exposed environments such as outside kitchens and catering facilities, external toilets, outside plant rooms, public leisure buildings, swimming pool and other water environments.
Maxdor Stainless Steel Doors are supplied as complete units consisting of door frame, door leaf, range of thresholds, dog-bolts and anti-jemmy strips. Powder coated finish and weather seals as standard, personnel doors are available in all formats single, double and leaf and a half, performance versions of the stainless steel door and are available as security doors, fire doors and acoustic doors.

Maxdor Stainless Steel doors are manufactured from 1.5mm 304 / 316 Grade Stainless Steel for increased durablity and service life.
Doors feature an internal Hinge Chassis System with a 90mm deep outer frame having a single rebate. Included are integral Mounting Plates and pre-drilled fixing holes. The door leaf is produced from 1.5mm thick, 304 / 316 Grade Stainless Steel and is a folded door sash with a 45mm overall thickness.
- Door skins come with the choice of solid doors or partial glazing/vision panels.
- Glazing is available as 6.4mm single laminate or 24mm laminated sealed units.
- Toughened Glass, Wired Glass or Plexiglass is also available to suit the application.
Threshold options of folded steel, aluminium DDA compliant and a double-ramped aluminium threshold are available.

Doors have a 45mm thick door leaf, with integral anti-jemmy strips, dog bolt hinges to suit the size of the door. Door hinges are BS. EN 1935:2002 Grade 13 Stainless Steel. (4No on standard doors, 6 No. for oversize doors).

Doors are available in a choice of standard RAL colours from the Interpon / Akzo-Nobel powder range. Minimum paint thickness is approx. 30 – 50 Microns. Optional include woodgrain colours, textured powder coating and the full RAL colour range.
