Security steel louvre door ranges are ideal for bin stores, plant rooms, cycle stores, substations and IT rooms.
Maxguard Security Louvre doors provide a variety of solutions to keep a building secure and ventilated. We have two main types of louvres; our welded mesh louvre grilles which can provide a security rating with panel sizes of 457mm x 457mm, you can have these top or bottom or both. Our other option is punched louvres which provide airflow with certified security and anti-vandal capabilities.
These doors are available to SR2 certification. Our security louvre doors are supplied as complete units consisting of the door frame, door leaf, range of thresholds, dog bolts and anti-jemmy strips. Powder-coated finish and weather seals as standard and are available in all formats single, double and leaf and a half.

Maxguard Louvred Security Doors are fabricated using 1.5mm Zintec steel to the door frame and 1.2mm Zinteck steel to the door leaf. Door frames features a 90mm or 150mm front to back profile with integral single rebate.
45mm thick door leaf, with integral anti-jemmy strips and 6No. or 9No. dog bolts to suit the size of the door. Hinges are BS. EN 1935:2002 Grade 13 Stainless Steel. (4No. on standard doors, 6No. for oversize doors). Threshold options of folded steel, aluminium DDA compliant and a double-ramped aluminium threshold are available.
Punched or Blade louvre options are available. In each door panel is the option of a louvre in the top section of the door, the bottom section, louvres top and bottom as well as a full width and height louvre
For double doors, these are available as unequal door leaves with a minimum slave leaf width of 450mm.
Maxguard Louvred Security Doors come with options for locking and operation.
1. Deadlock with pull handles on one or both sides.
2. Sashlock with lever/lever handles.
3. Mortice lock with multipoint locking
4. Keypad Codelock with integral lever handle.
Hardware can be upgraded to meet different access requirements. Options include:

Security Door Cylinders are provided with the option of Brisant, Ultion Cylinders or Sold Secure diamond / TS007 3 star rated. Available as key/key, key/turn or key outside only.
Door security can be enhanced with door skins having 1.5mm or 2mm thickness and optional part timber infill.
Maxguard Louvre Doors can be specified as either free swinging door sets or with door closers providing door control. Limit stays providing a restricted opening are also available. “

Doors are available in a choice of standard RAL colours from the Interpon / Akzo-Nobel powder range. Minimum paint thickness is approx. 30 – 50 Microns. Optional include woodgrain colours, textured powder coating and the full RAL colour range.
