Our louvred fire doors can be fitted with a range of louvre panels with intumescent blocks and options including 305 x 305, 457 x 457, 600 x 600 and 457 x 1500 panels.
The Fire louvre doors are tested with certain stipulations i.e. the louvre panel must have a minimum size border of door leaf surrounding, therefore the certification dictates what size louvre can go into what size door leaf. This affects the airflow. The airflow requirement of the installation must be considered and we can happily calculate this for you and advise accordingly.
Our doors are supplied as complete units consisting of the door frame, door leaf, range of thresholds, dogbolts and anti-jemmy strips. Powder-coated finish and weather seals as standard and our louvre doors are available in all formats including single, double and leaf and a half.

Maxdor Louvre Fire Doors are tested to the internationally recognised CERTIFIRE mark of fire safety. Doors are subjected to furnace testing resisting temperatures of up to 1100 degrees Centigrade for a period in excess of 4 hours/240 minutes.
Maxdor Louvre Fire Doors are fabricated using long life rust resistant zinc coated steel. Door frame features a 90mm or 150mm front to back profile with integral single rebate. All doors are tested to the recognised and approved Exova Warrington CERTIFIRE scheme, providing integrity fire resistance of up to 240 minutes, as defined by EN1634-1:2008 or BS476: Part 22:1987.
Punched or Blade louvre options are available. In each door panel is the option of a louvre in the top section of the door, the bottom section, louvres top and bottom as well as a full width and height louvre
45mm thick door leaf, with integral anti-jemmy strips and 6 or 9 dog bolts to suit the size of the door. Hinges are high quality grade 13 stainless steel, available as standard or lift-off versions to BS. EN 1935:2002 (4No. on standard doors, 6No. for oversize doors).
Threshold options of Folded steel, aluminium DDA compliant and a double-ramped aluminium threshold are available.
Maxdor Louvre Fire doors come with options for locking and operation.
- Deadlock with pull handles on one or both sides.
- Sashlock with lever/lever handles.
- Mortice lock with multipoint locking
- Keypad Codelock with integral lever handle.
Hardware can be upgraded to meet different access requirements. Options include:

Security Door Cylinders are provided with the option of Brisant, Ultion Cylinders or Sold Secure diamond / TS007 3 star rated. Available as key/key, key/turn or key outside only.
Door security can be enhanced with door skins having 1.5mm or 2mm thickness and optional part timber infill.
Maxdor Louvre Fire Doors can be specified as either free swinging door sets or with door closers providing door control. Limit stays providing a restricted opening are also available.

Doors are available in a choice of standard RAL colours from the Interpon / Akzo-Nobel powder range. Minimum paint thickness is approx. 30 – 50 Microns. Optional include woodgrain colours, textured powder coating and the full RAL colour range.
