Acoustic louvre doors are designed for locations where ventilation is required, but noise transfer also needs to be managed. Unlike a standard louvred door, an acoustic louvre system is designed to allow airflow while helping to reduce the impact of noise from plant, equipment, machinery or service areas.
The louvre arrangement can be specified to suit the application, with options available for different door formats, opening sizes, airflow requirements and surrounding building conditions. This allows the door set to support ventilation without ignoring wider project requirements such as durability, security, weather resistance and ease of access.

Door security can be enhanced with door skins having 1.5mm or 2mm thickness and optional part timber infill.
Maxdor Louvre Acoustic Doors can be specified as either free swinging door sets or with door closers providing door control. Limit stays providing a restricted opening are also available.

Doors are available in a choice of standard RAL colours from the Interpon / Akzo-Nobel powder range. Minimum paint thickness is approx. 30 – 50 Microns. Optional include woodgrain colours, textured powder coating and the full RAL colour range.
